What Is the Spotlight Series?
Magic Spotlight Series events are open to all players, letting anyone play high-level Magic, win awesome prizes, and gather to see who has the skill to claim Magic greatness. Centered around an open-field tournament, these two-day events offer cash prizes, promo cards, and even invitations to the Pro Tour.
If you don't make it to the end of the main event, then no worries. You can still enjoy all the vendors, side events, special guests, and many more exciting aspects of this tournament series.
What Can I Win?

Each Magic Spotlight: Secrets main event features a $50,000 prize pool. For the event's promo card, one of Strixhaven's most esteemed (and infamous) alumni is making an appearance. Each player who registers for the main event will receive a non-foil borderless Liliana Vess promo card with art by Justyna Dura. The Top 128 players of the event will also receive traditional foil copies of this promo card.
The Black Lotus trophy from Magic Spotlight: Eclipsed
In addition, the Top 8 players in each main event will also receive invitations to Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel Super Heroes, which will be held at MagicCon: Amsterdam on July 17–19, 2026. The winner of the event will receive a Black Lotus-themed trophy featuring the Secrets of Strixhaven set symbol.
